| week 52: 9th - 15th | The sun comes out & Monkey goes prospecting in the Gold Country. He explores Old Folsom, finds the Mother Lode, and explains Vaseline Glass. (got Geiger counter?) | |
| week 53: 16th - 22nd | Antiquing continued, Victrola tunes, finds a "Trading Post," spots trophy heads, meets Lydia (oh Lydia), demonstrates uranium glass fluorescence, acknowledges Day 365¼, pulls a rabbit(?) out of his hat. | |
| week 54: 23rd - 29th | Visits Sacramento Zoo, speculates on what "giraffe enrichment" means, sees similar simians, gets fotografed against his wishes, gets cold and wants ice cream, finds a fishy. | |
